K-Swiss K-Ruuz $85

K-Swiss K-Ruuz $85
The swiftest member of the K-Swiss running family features the same serious focus as the rest of the line.

It also features a few triathlon-inspired touches: laces with link-sausagelike texture to stay tied, drainage through the shank, and perforations at the toe and heel for air flow (which K-Swiss calls its “FlowCool System”). The upper is open mesh with HF-welded midfoot overlays. The midsole is very low profile with a Superfoam crash pad and Strobel board for cushioning. There’s a small medial post for stability, which is especially useful in a racer since fatigue usually results in reduced biomechanical efficiency (you know, your form breaks down as you near the end of a race). Overall, the K-Ruuz is an excellent racer for the speedy, but it’s so lightweight that it’s better suited to shorter races.

  • Sizes: men 8–12,13,14; women 5.5–10,11
  • Weight: 6.0 oz. (men’s 11); 4.6 oz. (women’s 8)
  • Shape: semi-curved Fit: snug heel, close-fitting forefoot
  • For: medium- to high-arched feet with neutral biomechanics to very mild overpronation
  • Range: efficient runners - up to 35K or beyond; heavy strikers - up to 15K

The City Of Trees Marathon Association Inc started with it's first race; The City Of Trees Marathon in 2002. Our theme was"New in 2002? In 2003 we offered the Fit For Life Half Marathon partially as a training run for the 2003 City Of Trees Marathon, partially to use up supplies left over from the City Of Trees 2002, and partially because we needed to expand our offerings in order to make the City Of Trees Marathon a success. 2004 was an expansion year to say the least, and we offered 12 events, mostly just to see what would stick in the valley and beyond. Since 2004 we have honed our offerings into three major categories, Trail Runs, Road Races, and Festival events or Fun Runs. The Les Bois Trail Running Series was created as a Gran Prix Style race series where the three trail runs have been combined to determine series winners, and also to give discounts to those who would like to run all three trail races. The same can be said for the City Of Trees Road Racing Series, where we offer two Gran Prix Series using the Fit For Life Events, The Payette Lake Run events, and finally the City Of Trees Marathon Events, a"short" series consisting of a 10K-8.6 mile-Half Marathon, and a"long" series consisting of a Half-30K-Marathon. Not only can these races be used to compete, but they are strategically placed so they can be used as training runs to compliment each other for the end goal of the City Of Trees Marathon Events. Kind of an"All Path's lead to the City Of Trees Marathon
