K-Swiss K-Ruuz $85

K-Swiss K-Ruuz $85
The swiftest member of the K-Swiss running family features the same serious focus as the rest of the line.

It also features a few triathlon-inspired touches: laces with link-sausagelike texture to stay tied, drainage through the shank, and perforations at the toe and heel for air flow (which K-Swiss calls its “FlowCool System”). The upper is open mesh with HF-welded midfoot overlays. The midsole is very low profile with a Superfoam crash pad and Strobel board for cushioning. There’s a small medial post for stability, which is especially useful in a racer since fatigue usually results in reduced biomechanical efficiency (you know, your form breaks down as you near the end of a race). Overall, the K-Ruuz is an excellent racer for the speedy, but it’s so lightweight that it’s better suited to shorter races.

  • Sizes: men 8–12,13,14; women 5.5–10,11
  • Weight: 6.0 oz. (men’s 11); 4.6 oz. (women’s 8)
  • Shape: semi-curved Fit: snug heel, close-fitting forefoot
  • For: medium- to high-arched feet with neutral biomechanics to very mild overpronation
  • Range: efficient runners - up to 35K or beyond; heavy strikers - up to 15K

In May 2002, Fargo hosted the Scheels All Sports Run for the Children Half Marathon, and with 300 runners, it was considered a huge race-..No one knew there so many people eager to run inFargo,ND!After three years of the Half Marathon, we asked runners if they would support a full marathon in this place we call home."Ya, Sure-.You Betcha" was all we needed to hear, and in 2005, we made the jump to a full marathon. Our inaugural event in 2005 brought in over 2,400 participants-.Uff Da! We thought that was as big as we would ever get! In the years to follow, our numbers continued to surprise us as we grew to 6,000 people in 2006, then 9,000 people in 2007, then 13,000 people in 2008 and finally over 14,000 people in 2009! Uff Da! With people coming from all 50 States and a few countries to boot, we are setting one high goal for 2010-.it's our"20x10"-.that is 20,000 people by 2010!~ So-here we go-.we NEED YOU to get us there! Grab your friends and if you're not up for a marathon or half marathon, then walk in our 5K or 10K, and don't forget the kids for the Youth Run. Start your new decade right-.be one of 20,000!
